CAMPUS FACILITIES:

Fayetteville Beauty College is located in its own building at 2167 & 2177 WEST 6th with a large parking area. The school has a large student lab area and classroom space with modern facilities and equipment.

HOURS OF OPERATION
Daytime: Tues - Sat
          8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

SCHOOL POLICIES AND RULES

DRESS CODE - Clean School colored Lab jacket with proper foot attire. Students and staff must be professional in appearance at all times.

ATTENDANCE - When school is in session, satisfactory attendance is considered a vital part of each student's record. Any student with three unexcused absences within thirty calendar days may be suspended for a period of time by the administration not to exceed three days.

EXCUSED ABSENCES - Excusable absence will be given for illness and emergencies. If absent for any other reason, arrangements must be made in advance with the administration. Excessive absence or tardiness without an excuse acceptable to the school could result in suspension or dismissal.

LEAVE OF ABSENCE - A leave of absence may be granted to students in case of illness, death in the family, or other cases where the school approves the absence in advance. Please contact the office for the required forms to complete for this type of request.

TARDINESS - Is unexcused and will be charged against the student's hours for that day.

WITHDRAWAL - A student wishing to withdraw from school must give written notice to school administration of the intent and state reason. For students attending school on federal and state funded programs, the department in charge of student's program will be immediately notified by this school of the student's dismissal or withdrawal.

BEHAVIOR - Student's will be expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.

LOCKERS - Lockers are furnished to students at no charge.
Lockers must he kept clean and orderly at all times and left clean when student completes training.

STATIONS - Students are assigned stations. Stations must be kept clean and orderly at all times. Stations are checked periodically by school staff and/or the State Board of cosmetology.

RECORDS OF STUDENTS - Complete records will be maintained on all students as to their payment of tuition and fees. Student's academic, lab and performance grades, shall be recorded. The school honors the Buckley Act as to disclosure of educational records or files of the student.

REFUND POLICY ALL PROGRAMS

1. An applicant rejected by the school shall be entitled to a refund of all monies paid.

2. If a student (or in case of a student under legal age, his/her parent or guardian) cancels his/her enrollment and demands his/her money back in writing, within three business days of signing of an enrollment agreement or contract, all monies collected by the school shall be refunded. The cancellation date will be determined by the postmark on written notification, or the date said information is delivered to the school administrator/owner in person. This policy applies regardless of whether or not the student has actually started training.

3. Refunds to Veterans will be in compliance with Veterans Administration regulations.

4. If a student cancels his/her enrollment after three business days after signing but prior to entering classes, he shall be entitled to a refund of all monies paid to the school less an administrative fee of $100 for the general cosmetology course and manicuring course.

5. Equipment, books, and supplies are Available from F. J. Beauty Supply or a vendor of your own choice.

6. For students who enroll in and begin classes, the following schedule of tuition adjustment is authorized for the first enrollment period:

60.01 to 100.00% 100% Retained or Received

7. Enrollment time is defined as time elapsed between the actual starting date and the date of the student's last day of physical attendance in the school. Any monies due the applicant or student shall be refunded within 30 days of formal cancellation by the student as defined in item (2), or formal termination by the school which shall occur no more than 30 days from the last day of physical attendance.

8. If a school is permanently closed and no longer offering instruction after a student has enrolled, the student shall be entitled to a pro-rata refund of tuition.

9. If a course is canceled subsequent to a student's enrollment, the school shall at its option:

        i) Provide a full refund of all monies paid; or
        ii) Provide completion of the course.


When all money has been paid in accordance with the written agreements and satisfactory completion of the prescribed course, the school will grant a completion certificate to the student and then release the state registration material.
